I feel like I’m constantly researching and buying masks. I like the ones we currently use so a lot of the researching/buying involves kid masks because style matters a lot when it comes to toddler mask compliance.
Adult Masks
My husband and I have only been using disposable masks for about a year now and we reuse them for a bit.

These black KN95s are what my husband primarily wears. I have a smaller face and the bottom is very uncomfortable on my neck.

For 4 layer masks, I like these KN94s. I’ve bought multiple boxes of these & the slight color is a bonus. They’re thick yet breathable and are softer than a lot of masks I’ve tried (so they don’t tear up your face). I’ve been able to wear these all day when it’s hot without breaking out underneath. Due to the “duckbill-ish” shape, they don’t touch as much of your face, just the edges.

LG Airwasher masks are great because the straps are adjustable. Some straps get loose during the day so the adjustable straps on these help you keep a good seal around your face. They’re a little more expensive and not as soft as the Bella Hanji masks.

Air Queen masks are only 3 layers but provide a very good seal around the face. I wore this mask to do an outdoors Barry’s workout and I was able to breathe ok with it on. They’re a little scratchier than the Bella Hanji masks.
Kid Masks
Kid masks are complex because they’re very kid dependent. Some kids care about the color, material, design, shape (and depending on the mood of the day) so having a huge variety on hand helps with mask compliance. Since sometimes a mask can get soaked 3 minutes into wear (whyyyyyyy), I have carabiners on my bags to clip the masks onto to help air them out for repeat wear.
Kid Disposable

These KN95 kid masks are the only ones that I’ve found that are toddler sized. The designs are cute but the mask is very thick (5 layers) so getting a toddler to wear them for a long time is hard. Reviews talk about issues with the straps but I’ve never encountered those issues. I would have my child wear these all the time if she would allow it.

These adjustable kid sized KN94s are my personal favorite out of the masks my child is willing to wear. They have 4 layers and come individually wrapped. Due to the duckbill shape, they lesson mask chewing/licking (which is more common amongst toddlers than one with think).

A mask is better than no mask, even if the mask is only 3 layers. I got a version of these masks – Spiderman ones – because my daughter is very into Spiderman right now. She’s willing to wear these masks all day (I bring multiples to switch out when they get saliva-soggy).

These G-box brand masks are good and toddler sized. They’re also only 3 layers. I haven’t tried doubling up on them but probably should have during our Disneyland trip (though, it was VERY humid).
Kid Fabric Masks

We send fabric masks to school. She goes through so many a day that it just isn’t economical to do disposable masks. These Crayola ones are good. They fit her face, are adjustable, have a nose piece. No complaints except that they don’t provide a good enough seal for my comfort when we’re out in public. But for school, they’re good.

Joah Love masks are soft and very comfortable. Since the ear piece is adjustable, they have a really good seal. Some masks come with a pocket for a filter. But, they’re around $20 each so the possibility of them getting lost at school (which seems kinda high) is hard to stomach. My child threw one into the creek at school and even though it got muddy and gross looking, you bet I washed it instead of trashing it.
